NowPow Named Social Innovator of 2020

NowPow has been headquartered and in operation on Chicago’s South Side since 2016, where the original idea to e-prescribe community resources was born. Today, NowPow works with an array of organizations across the nation—including healthcare, child welfare, housing, schools/universities and government—to build community referral networks. NowPow’s personalized community referral platform supports the shift to value-based care and powers caring for all people, whether they are trying to stay well, meet basic needs or manage with chronic illness. NowPow’s data is also used to identify gaps in community care, which is critical given the impact the COVID-19 crisis has had on needs and social service availability.
